Airy white flowers appear in early summer above a mass of deeply serrated leaves. Disease resistant and deer/rabbit resistant, but keep an eye out for powdery mildew. Great for moist, partially shaded areas. Astilbe must have consistently moist soil to thrive.
Cut back the old foliage in spring. Divide in early spring every 3 - 4 years.
