Mint, Pineapple - 3-pack | Mentha suaveolens ‘Variegata’

Pineapple mint is a perennial herb (zones 4 - 8) with beautiful variegated foliage.  Bright green, crinkled leaves with creamy white borders are beautiful spilling out of containers.  The leaves can be used to flavor teas, jellies, fruit salads, summer drinks, and desserts.  Also makes a lovely garnish.  Produces pink/white flowers in summer. 

Like all mints, pineapple mint is an aggressive grower.  Plant in containers and use heavily throughout the growing season to keep it in check.  Easy to grow and one plant can supply enough pineapple mint for your kitchen all year round.  Appreciates some shade in hotter climates to keep leaves from burning.
